I think Edison was a semi good man that was threatened by standard oil. He had a 100 mile range nickel-iron battery electric car before 1930. He was a douche for selling out though.

The monetary system is homosapiens shackles. If it weren't for money and people killing, discrediting and screwing each other over for it all for a single self-centered moment of glory - we'd be light years ahead of where we are miserably stuck today. (eg. Tesla's inventions would have benefitted all of mankind, instead of the very few, greedy 'rich' bastards)
