Mr Guitar was at his best when he was playing this hit of his from 1965! Chet didn't have a lot of "Major " hits, but when he did they were goodies! This classic of Chet's will endure when most of the others have faded into oblivion. Thanks for posting!

The original version of this song is called Yakety Sax, and is played on saxophone by Boots Randolph. This cover version of the song is called Yakety Axe because it's played on a guitar (a guitar can be called an "axe").

Whatever happened to that b/w 1965 version of this tune? When I click on it, this is what I get: -"...removed due to terms of use violation". What kind of nonsense is that? Anybody?
